Make Alexa even smarter with this skill for Mixtile! With this skill, you can now use any Alexa compatible device to control a wide range of lights, outlets, switches, locks and temperature sensors from various brands. Any devices of these types in your Mixtile Hub can be controlled by Alexa.
Smart Lights (Philips, LIFX, Aeotec, TP-LINK, Sengled, Enbrighten, Gledopto, Heiman, etc.) • Alexa, turn on the Living Room lights • Alexa, set the Bedroom lights to pink • Alexa, is the Kitchen light on? • Alexa, dim Bedroom lights by 20% • Alexa, turn off the Office lights
Smart Locks (August, Yale, Kwikset, and Schlage) • Alexa, lock the Front Door • Alexa, unlock the Front Door (password required) • Alexa, is the Bedroom Door locked?
Smart Plugs and Switches(Xiaomi, GE, Wemo, TP-LINK, SmartThings, Aqara, Leviton, etc.) • Alexa, turn on the Fan • Alexa, turn off the Fan • Is the Bedroom light on?
How to get started? To use this skill, you will need the Mixtile Hub and the Mixtile App. 1. On your Alexa app, go to “Smart Home” then “Smart Home Skills” 2. Click “Enable Skills” 3. Search for “Mixtile” 4. Click on the “Enable” button and you will be directed to the Mixtile App 5. On the Mixtile App, click “Confirm” to ‘Access from Third Party” 6. Select the devices you want add to Alexa and done 7. Discover the devices on the Alexa app
