This skill allows Figure Eight (www.figure-eight.com) contributors to carry out simple voice-based crowdsourcing jobs such as topic classification or entity extraction. To be enabled to use “My daily task” skill the user needs to: (1) have a contributor account in Figure Eight, and (2) login to the platform and accept one of those tasks that require the “My daily task” skill to be performed. In the instruction section of such tasks, you will find a six-numbers code necessary to register in My Daily task. It is essential that the code you give to the skill be the correct once since it is the element that allows you to get rewarded in Figure Eight for the work you complete. The skill will also ask you for your name (feel free to use an alias in you prefer).
Once registered on My Daily Task you can start carrying out tasks. The number of tasks available every day is limited, so you might be interested in activating an alarm that will remind you to perform tasks in the following days. All the tasks you perform in the days after the registration will be reward through figure eight bonuses in a few days. Before this, you can check your budget from the main menu of the task by saying “My budget”.
Once registered, you land on the main skill menu, that allows you to access Skill functionalities such as the main task submission area, the budget details, and the settings. You can perform tasks of the type that was assigned to you in the Figure Eight task, such as “tweet classification”, “entities resolution”, or others. You can perform only tasks of such given type, for a maximum of five tasks per days. You can ask for your current budget at any moment by saying “What is my budget”. The budget is calculated based on the number of tasks you have performed and will be paid to you within a few days through Figure Eight bonuses. From the main menu, you can say “help” to receive detailed information about the possible skill commands and functionality available to you.
