To use this skill, you must: - have a LockedBrands Pillar device - have a voice profile on your Alexa device - link your personal Alexa profile (with "Personalize Skills" enabled) to your LockedBrands account To enable Personalize Skills see below.
With this skill, you can use voice to: 1. Unlock your Pillar device. Example: "Alexa, tell my Pillar to unlock" 2. Change the appearance of the LED ring. Examples: - "Alexa, ask my Pillar to change color to red" - "Alexa, tell my Pillar to change style to solid night" - "Alexa, tell my Pillar to set brightness to five percent" 3. Change the access time of an unlock (changes the time allowed for removing the lid). Example: "Alexa, tell my Pillar to change access time to 10 seconds" 4. Request information on usage of the skill. Examples: - "Alexa, ask my Pillar for help" - "Alexa, ask my Pillar for color choices"
To create a voice profile, visit your profile in the settings menu of the Alexa App, or say "Alexa, learn my voice" and you will be prompted to create a profile.
Afer enabling the skill in the Alexa app, you will be prompted to link your account with the LockedBrands account. Linking will automatically redirect you to the LockedBrands login page. Use the email address you used when you registered your Pillar. During this process, you will be required to create a four digit voice pin code (although you will be given the option to opt out of using the pin code). You will then be sent to a page asking for permission for the skill to access your Pillar information.
If you wish to change your use of the voice pin code, visit https://login.lockedbrands.com/login/pillar.
Once enabled, you can get started by saying "Alexa open My Pillar" and you will hear a description of things you may say.
To enable "Personalize Skills" in the Alexa app, go to Settings> Your Profile> Voice> Voice Profile Settings > Personalize Skills and press the button
