There are over 500 talking newspapers and magazines in the UK, providing local news and information to anyone who may be blind, partially sighted, or have any kind of print impairment.
Information may include theatre guides, local interviews, listings for audio description at the local cinema, or council information. Editions are usually weekly or bi-weekly, and there are sometimes monthly magazines too.
Don't worry if you don't find an organisation in your area just yet. There are new additions all the time, but if you don't find your local group on this service, please let them know about this service and pass on the contact information below.
We don't need any personal information from you and there are no permissions or account linking required. There is nothing to pay and no need to subscribe to anything.
Talking newspapers - Just say the name, for example, “Play Sheffield Talking Newspaper” - If you don't know the name, just say the town, for example, "Norwich"
