This skill can be use to find if the website or webserver is still up and running. You may say something like "my web status" to open the skill. After Alexa recognize the skill it will have an example message. After the message you may say something like "status of google.com" to see if the website is up and running.
It may take some tries due to pronunciation with website or even spelling out the website might help. When a user say google.com to Alexa, it will parse the words as "google dot com". The app will know and replace the dot with "." and remove the spaces.
