MyFord Mobile users with a Ford plug-in vehicle (C-Max Energi, Fusion Energi, and Focus Electric) can use the Alexa voice service to issue a range of remote commands and obtain vehicle information, such as battery state of charge and electric range.
The MyFord Mobile skill allows you to give commands, such as: · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile to lock/unlock my vehicle.” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile what's the mileage?” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile is my tire pressure low?”
New functionality available with MyFord Mobile: · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile for the battery status.” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile what’s my primary vehicle?” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile for the vehicle status.” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile what’s my next GO Time?” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile for my last trip.” · “Alexa, ask MyFord Mobile to list all of my cars.”
To use this skill: · Enable the MyFord Mobile kill. · Log in to your MyFord Mobile account within the Alexa mobile app using your MyFord Mobile username and password. · Set a PIN to help protect access to certain features when using the skill.
After linking your MyFord Mobile account to the skill, you can do the following: · Start and stop vehicle · Lock and unlock vehicle · Check vehicle range, including both electric and gas range, if applicable · Check current odometer reading · Confirm that your tire pressures are in the correct range
