The ultimate companion skill for the popular drinking game, Cheers to the Governor.
Here are the rules:
1. Everyone sits in a circle, drink in hand. 2. The game begins by players counting off clockwise (the first person says "1", the second person says "2", and so on).** 3. This continues until you get to "21" at which point everyone yells "Cheers to the Governor" and takes a drink. 4. Now, the person who said 21 now has the privilege to replace one of the numbers with a New Rule. 5. Simply say, "Alexa, New Rule" and have that person replace a number of their choosing with the new rule. 6. Start counting from "1" again with new rules in play. 7. Any players that make a mistake or hesitate take a drink, and restart the count from "1". 8. The game ends when all the numbers are replaced with a rule, or when people had enough to drink.
**Since the first round can be boring simply counting up to 21, begin with a "starting rule" where the numbers "7" and "14" are switched to warm people up and keep them on their toes!
