How to control your lights with Amazon Echo?

1. What you need to get started.
Before using Echo to control your smart devices, make sure you meet the following conditions.
1.1 Stable Wireless network which could access to Amazon Echo and Newbeem Smart Outlet.
1.2 An Echo device, including Echo, Echo Tap, or Echo Dot etc. An Amazon Alexa app and related Alexa account. ( If you don't have one, Please register it at http://alexa.amazon.com ).
1.3 You need to have some Newbeem Smart Outlet in hand, Newbeem iPlug Wifi app.

2. Connecting Alexa to your Newbeem Smart Outlet in a few simple steps:
2.1 Download "iPlug Wifi" App in IOS or Android App market.
2.2 Power on Newbeem Smart Outlet, configure it with "iPlug Wifi" App according the user instructions, make sure there's at least one smart outlet you can control through the App.
2.3 Plug in Echo, download Amazon "Alexa" App from android, IOS or Amazon App market and configure Echo with "Alexa" App ( For the details steps please check your Echo manual instruction )
2.4 Open "Alexa" App and search "Newbeem Smart Outlet" skill from the "Alexa" App skills category;
2.5 Click Enable skill of "Newbeem Smart Outlet", and you'll be navigated to Newbeem login page;
2.6 Click "Register" and create account username and password for new user of using existing one, input the device name or mac address and then Click : "Register" to link your account. Then you'll be redirect to the success page: "Alexa has been successfully linked with Newbeem Smart Outlet";
2.7 Click "Your skills" in Alexa "Skill" interface, you will find the "Newbeem Smart Outlet" skill and now you can manage this skill;
2.8 Click "Add device" in Alexa "Smart home" interface to discover the "Newbeem Smart Outlet" device. You can also say "Alexa, discover my devices." to add new device.
2.9 Now all setups are finished, you can start to voice control the "Newbeem Smart Outlet" device by Alexa;
2.10 You can say "Alexa, turn on the bedroom light."

3 Control Newbeem Smart Outlet device with Echo

3.1 You can start the voice control on your devices like these:
Please note: our example phrase is the phrase after changing the name of the device to the "bedroom light".
Turn on or off the device :
"Alexa, turn on the bedroom light."
"Alexa, turn off the bedroom light."
Dim the light through the device:
"Alexa, set the bedroom light to 40%."
"Alexa, set the bedroom light to 80%."

3.2 Note.
There are 3 outlet on the device, the first one from the left with the Wifi icon under is the Wifi smart outlet. The other two are normal ones.
Please be advised that the maximum output of the Wifi smart outlet is 200W. Do not plug in more than 200W lamp or other applicance on the outlet.
