Alexa and you take turns guessing the names of 90's solo artists and bands beginning with a selected letter of the alphabet.
Alexa will tell you when it's your turn. If you don't answer, Alexa will prompt you to respond for a second time. If you still fail to answer then the game will time out.
If you can't think of an answer you can say "Don't know". If that happens Alexa will win the game but she will also suggest answers you could have given so you can learn for future games.
You can select which letter to play by saying “Alexa, Play Letter" (then your chosen letter). For example “Alexa, Play Letter F” or “Alexa, Play Letter W”.
Nineties Letters doesn’t support the letters: Q, X, Y, and Z, as there are so few answers starting with those letters.

Rules: -------- To qualify as a correct answer, a solo artist or band must have had a top 40 US single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, or a top 40 US album on the Billboard 200 chart, during the 90s.
Nineties Letters Scoring System: ------------------------------------------- • 2 answers in a row - Borderline Britpop. • 4 answers in a row - Gorgeously Grunge. • 6 answers in a row - Blissfully Britney. • 8 answers in a row - Nearly Nirvana. • 10 answers in a row - Hardcore Hip Hop.
