This skill connects an Amazon Echo device with Alexa to your Nuvo Player Portfolio system, allowing you to control your home audio experience using only your voice. You can tell Alexa to play music from any of the Alexa supported music services. Additionally, you can start music from other Nuvo sources using the Player app and then control it by telling Alexa to mute, change volume, skip song, or stop playing.
To start listening, just tell Alexa what you want to hear and where you want to hear it. You must specify the name of the Nuvo speaker or zone in which you want to listen.
EXAMPLE VOICE COMMANDS:
“Alexa, play Marvin Gaye in the master bedroom.”
“Alexa, play meditation music in the bathroom.”
“Alexa, play Come Fly with Me by Frank Sinatra in the living room.”
“Alexa, set volume to 5 on the deck.”
“Alexa, next song in the kitchen.”
“Alexa, mute the living room.”
“Alexa, resume on living room.”
REQUIREMENTS:

SETUP
1. You must have the Nuvo Player app installed on your device.
2. Within the Nuvo Player app, add the “Amazon Alexa Service” like you would any other music service in your Player Portfolio system.
3. After you add Amazon Alexa as a service, you will be directed to register your Nuvo Player system with the Legrand Cloud, this will enable integration with Alexa. Click “Register” to follow the link and setup Legrand Cloud.
4. To complete integration, you will then be prompted to click “Open Alexa” to find and select the Nuvo Player skill.
5. Click “Enable” on the Nuvo Player skill.
6. Click “Allow” to grant the application permission to link your Nuvo Player system to Alexa.
7. You are now ready to control your Nuvo Player system using Alexa.
