You can simply ask Alexa to turn on, turn off or dim the light. There’s no need to use the switch to adjust your home light.Just talk to Alexa on your Amazon Echo and it’s done. Before you can connect Alexa with Onforu devices, you need to finish the following steps:
1. Download “Onforu” app from App Store or Google Play.
2. Launch the app and register a new account (or login if you’re already registered)
3. Add your device to “My Devices” page on Onforu.
4. Open “Alexa” app, search for “Onforu” skill, and enable it by signing in your Onforu account.
5. Now you can control your device via Alexa! You can enjoy the voice control on your home devices like these:
"Alexa, turn on the lights"
"Alexa, turn off the lights"
"Alexa, turn off the lights in the dining room"
"Alexa, set light brightness to 20%"
"Alexa, set the bedroom light to red"
"Alexa, Is the light on in Tyler's room?"
"Alexa, Dim the bedroom light" When using the skill, you need to specify by name which device to use. There are two ways to define this/these name(s):
* Use the name(s) you set up already – these are shown in the Onforu app and can be changed, or
* Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the device to the group.
