PlusMinus Rhythm offers the most meticulous voice-controlled smart home experience for Amazon Alexa. Seamlessly control your smart home lighting hands-free. To get started, follow the instructions below.
1. Download our PlusMinus Rhythm app from Google Play or iOS App Store. 2. Open the app and register a new account (or log in if you are already registered). 3. Put your PlusMinus Rhythm devices into setup mode and connect them with the PlusMinus Rhythm app. 4. Download the Amazon Alexa app from Amazon Market, Google Play, or iOS App Store, and connect the Amazon Echo to the Amazon Alexa app. 5. Search the Amazon Alexa Skills directory for PlusMinus Rhythm Skill. 6. Click Enable skill for the PlusMinus Rhythm, then input your account username, password, and region on the linking page. 7. Tell Amazon Alexa to discover devices by uttering the command, "Alexa, discover my smart home devices."
When using the skill, you need established names for your devices. There are two ways to define these names:
• Use the names you previously set up. They are shown in the PlusMinus Rhythm app and can be changed • Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Attic, and add the device to the group
Once you know the name or group name for your devices, you can say the following:
• "Alexa, turn on Attic." • "Alexa, set Bedroom brightness to eighty percent."
