Connect to Alexa and control your smart lock with a simple voice code. with this Smart Home skill for Alexa, you now have voice control over your Smart Lock. ( this skill require gateway which is sold separately ) .
Details about supported devices:
1.Populife smart lock
Our current lock is mainly two kinds, a Deadbolt lock can be installed on the door, another lock box can be installed on the door, can be installed to any place can be suspended, can also be carried
2.Populife smart gateway
The role of the gateway is to support remote access through the network remote unlock/lock the lock 、 remote query records 、remote read and calibration lock time. We need gateway to voice interaction with echo to lock/unlock the Populife smart lock

Usage&Detail of Populife's app to control Populife smart device:

1.One Populife smart lock, one Populife smart gateway
2.Download and install Populife app from Appstore or Google play
3.Register and login in Populife App
4.APP Open bluetooth and connect network throught wifi or 4G and so on.
5.Add smart lock and add smart gateway in Populife app, and add relation with them.
6.Open the remote unlock function on the Populife app, and then test the remote unlock using the gateway
7.Check whether the lock is unlocked.

Account link with alexa is Populife App's account and Skill usage:

Detailed steps:
1. Download our Populife app from the appstore or playstore,following the Populife app’s usage to setup Populife smart lock and gateway. Then Check that the Populife app is able to lock/unlock using Bluetooth

2. Check that the Populife app is able to "remotely" lock/unlock using the Populife Plus hub

3. Enable the Populife Smart home skill in Alexa(Skill name:PopulifeSmart)

4.Link the Populife Smart Lock account (Populife app’s account) and provide permission to access your locks. This skill is compatible with Populife's smart Lock (mainly two types of lock:Deadbolt lock&Lock box) and need Populife's gateway support to remote unlock/lock the smart lock.

5.Once Alexa discovers the Populife Smart Lock, you can issue voice commands to Alexa as outlined below:

Alexa, lock the door lock
(door lock is the name of smart lock, you can rename the smart lock in the Populife App)
Alexa, unlock the door lock
(you should enable unlock feature in Alexa app )

Notice: some locks does not support unlock or lock status report, the status will always be locked.
And The type of lock box only support remote unlock the lock and lock the lock command may not support.But Deadbolt type support both of that.
