Remo+ video doorbells and smart cameras are the easiest to install and feature high-quality video, 2-way talk, advanced motion detection, night vision, and more. Remo+ allows you to keep an eye on your home and loved ones from wherever you are via the free Remo+ mobile app.
You can control your Remo+ device with Amazon Alexa devices using these commands:*
- "Alexa, show my [front door camera]" - "Alexa, stop my [front door camera]" - "Alexa, hide my [front door camera]"
*When using this Skill, you need to specify the name of your desired camera.
To get started, tap on the “Enable" button and follow the on-screen instructions to link your Alexa account with your Remo+ account.
Additionally, you can now have Alexa make an announcement or set off a routine when someone activates your Remo+ device. (e.g. your smart light blinks when your DoorCam detects motion or music plays when someone rings RemoBell S)
Simply turn on “Announcements” for your Remo+ device from the Smart Home section of the Alexa App or create an Alexa Routine from the main menu on the app.
To turn on announcements: 1) Open up your Alexa app 2) Click on “Devices” and click “All Devices” 3) Select your connected Remo+ device 4) Turn on the “Doorbell Press” feature and/or the “Motion Detection Feature”
To enable a routine: 1) Open up your Alexa app and click on the Menu icon 2) Choose “Routines” and press on the + 3) Select “When this happens,” then press “Devices,” and choose your Remo+ device 4) Choose the action that will set off your routine 5) Choose your routine’s notification sound
