Manage Rubetek smart devices with the help of Amazon Alexa. You don’t have to use either your smartphone, a wall switch or a remote control. Just ask Alexa to perform all necessary actions.
Step by step guide:
Download Rubetek app from Google Play or App Store. Launch the app and create a new account (or login to an existing account created earlier). Create a house and add Rubetek smart devices to this house. When adding assign an individual name to each of the devices. Download Amazon Alexa app from Amazon Market, Google Play or App Store. Connect Echo to a Wi-Fi network that has access to the internet, following the prompts from Amazon Alexa app. Find Rubetek SmartHome in the Amazon Alexa app skills section and press on “Enable”. In the populated form enter assigned to the Rubetek account mobile phone number and password, then press on Login (if you lost the password you can restore it via the Rubetek app). Select a home with devices you want to manage with Amazon Alexa. The setup is complete. Now you can manage your smart devices with voice commands.
Attention: management can be done only in English. House name and names of all devices must be in English. For example: “hall”, “showroom”, “air conditioner”, “smart plug” etc. If Alexa can’t perform your commands, please check recognition in the Amazon Alexa app.

To make your home devices available in the Alexa application, say: “Discover”.
To turn the device on, say: “Turn on [device name]”.
To turn the device off, say: “Turn off [device name]”.
