Have you always wanted to get Alexa to say certain things? With this skill you can tell Alexa to say almost anything you can think of! You can also hear Alexa translate your phrase from English to a different language! This skill will also allow you to select between 30+ different voices and many different voice modes to repeat your phrase! You can change Alexa's accent and have her talk like a British Male! You can also have Alexa talk fast, slow, with a high voice, or a low voice, backwards, in reverse, whispering, in a drunk voice, as a robot, spelling out words, and saying words with random beeps! Try it out and have tons of fun!
This skill is also helpful if you want to practice your language skills. You can translate your phrase from English to a few other different languages. After translating you can hear the translation repeated slower by saying, "say it again slow" or "say it again really slow". You can also view the translation in your Alexa app.
How it works:
Tell Alexa to repeat your phrase by saying, "repeat after me". Next, you can tell her what to say.
After she tells you the phrase, you can have her repeat it by saying, "say it again".
You can change the way she says the phrase by saying something like, "say it again fast".
To change her accent, say something like "change accent to British male", or just say "change accent" for a random accent.
After you tell her a phrase, you can also tell her to translate it to another language! (Currently max of 10 translations per week)
Below are some examples on how to translate a phrase, change the accent, or change the voice mode.
Translating a phrase:
First start by saying "repeat after me". Then tell Alexa your phrase.
After she hears and remembers the phrase, you can say something like, "translate to German".
This skill allows you to translate from English to the following languages: English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
To hear your original phrase, you can say something like, what was my original phrase?
To hear the last translated phrase, say something like, what was my last translation.
You can also view the translation in your Alexa app to check for accuracy.
*Note: There is currently a max of 10 translations per week. This is subject to change.
*Note: Due to the nature of voice and translation technology, translations may not always be accurate. Always check translations before using.
