Social network for voice! Create and listen to posts on your Echo device, or with our mobile app. If you want to record an audio post, you can also call our phone number and leave a post that way. You can attach links to posts as well as record them in your own voice (using the app).
We've created a social network for you to enjoy while you're driving, working, or just hanging out. You can create posts, answer fun or deep questions to build your user profile, and find out what's going on around you.
We are launching SayStream in early preview with the following channels: - Main Stream: For anything and everything you want to hear! - Life Hacks: Cool tips and tricks to make every day a little easier - New Stuff: Post about awesome things you found out in the wild, or cool new products or ideas others would be interested in - Movie Talk: Chat about movies, but make sure you let people know about spoilers! - Question of the Day: A new thought-provoking question every day - Personal: Posts you leave only for yourself
You must be registered to perform a lot of things, but you can still listen to posts even if you are not registered.
To hear the streams available to you, say Streams. To change to a specific stream, say Change Stream, and you will be prompted for the name. To join a stream with a specific ID, say Join Stream, and you will be prompted for the ID of the stream.
While listening to a post, you can do a few cool things: react, respond, report, follow user. For reactions, you can like it, love it, hate it. If it made you cry, say that too!
If a post has responses, you can say Get Responses to hear all the responses. Say Next Response, Previous Response to move through the responses.
If a post has been reported for profanity, offensive content, or poor quality, you will get a warning before hearing the post, and be allowed to skip it if you like.
Did you hear a post from a user you want to follow? Say Follow User to do that! Did you hear a post that has a link attached? Say Get the Link to have the attached link sent to you.
The SayStream mobile app allows you to make your own voice posts inside channels. These kinds of posts are listened to just like normal text posts, but with YOUR OWN VOICE.
