Once you tell Alexa your school district, you can ask for the next school holiday or event. Or ask for the first day of school. The next time you launch the skill (Open school days), it jumps right to the next day off for your district. After hearing one event or holiday, you can say next or previous to cycle through all the events we have configured for that district.
We only have a few Ohio school districts configured for now, but we can add yours - just send the school district you'd like to alexa@mandato.com . If it can't find your district, it will let you know. Each new school year will need to be loaded into our database. Alexa, ask school days ... --when is my next day off. -- to set my district to <district> -- when is the next event --when is the last day of school --when is graduation
