Keep score using your Echo for a game like Scrabble or Hearts. There is no limit to the number of players or turns the game will allow. Start a new game by asking "Alexa, ask Score Keeper to start a new game". She will prompt you for the number of teams or players. Ask Alexa to add or subtract points during the course of the game. You may get the score at any time (and check your Alexa app as well). With the game data being stored separately, there is no need to keep a session open. A game could theoretically take place over the course of days or weeks.
