Requirements

About SIGNL4
SIGNL4 is a lightweight mobile alert notification app. It reliably informs operations teams about critical alerts, incidents and events.

Use this skill to
1) Raise new (emergency) alerts to your SIGNL4 team.
Use Alexa to raise new alerts, e.g. in emergency situations to people who are on duty. Example scenarios are patient monitoring in hospitals or security services in facility management.
Example:
"Alexa, open signal four and raise an alert."

2) Ask Alexa for unhandled alerts.
Use this Skill to ask Alexa about unhandled alerts in your SIGNL4 team. Alexa will tell you how much of them your team has.
Example:
"Alexa, open signal four."
"How many alerts are open?"

3) Confirm all unhandled alerts.
Let Alexa quickly confirm all unhandled alerts of your team when you are just about to wake up and get back to business after you've been alerted by SIGNL4.
Example:
"Alexa, open signal four."
"How many alerts are open?"
Alexa will then ask you if you want to acknowledge unhandled alerts, if there are any.

4) Change your on-call duty status
Use Alexa to begin your duty or shift once you are ready. The skill will quickly take you on or off duty on your voice command. Very useful also in scenarios of replacements and stand-ins.
Example:
"Alexa, open signal four and take me on duty"
"Alexa, open signal four and start my duty"
"Alexa, open signal four and take me off duty"
"Alexa, open signal four and stop my duty"
