Alexa and singlecue smart home controller work together to help you control your home with the ease of lifting a finger or speaking out a voice command. With the skill enabled, you will be able to ask Alexa to trigger turn on your media devices or even tell Alexa to switch to a specific channel number.
To start using this skill you would first need to get your hands on a singlecue device. You can get it at www.singlecue.com.
You would also need to have the singlecue application installed on your smartphone. (available on Google Play and the AppStore)
Now, enable the singlecue skill and follow the below instructions: 1. Launch the singlecue application. 2. Head to the side menu and enter the “Devices” menu. 3. Hit the “+” button and add a device of type “Virtual Assistant”. 4. Type in the brand name “Amazon”. 5. Select the brand name “Amazon” from the search results. 6. Pair Alexa with singlecue by speaking the phrase written in the app. 7. Follow the mini-tutorial to find out about the commands you can tell Alexa to perform with singlecue. 8. Complete setting up your Alexa by pressing the "Done" button.
