Have you ever wondered where the plane flying above you is going? Or... Do you want to get a real-time update on a flight, whether it be commercial or private? If so, Sky Talker is here to help. Try saying: "Nearby aircraft" - you'll get detailed information about the closest plane. Make sure to share your location to take advantage of this feature. "Track a flight" - you'll be prompted for a flight number to track commercial flights or a tail number, in case you want to track a private plane. Your preferences will be saved, so next time you ask to track a flight, you won't need to enter the information again. If you want to track a different flight, just say: "Set flight number" - to track another commercial flight
"Set tail number" - to track another private plane If you want to customize your settings for the nearby aircraft feature, you can say: "Set search radius" or "Set maximum altitude" --- Sky Talker currently allows one request per day for all its free users. We offer a Premium Plan with the possibility of a free trial, which allows unlimited requests. By signing up for the Premium Plan, you'll support the future development of Sky Talker and be able to ask about flights as many times as you'd like. --- Sky Talker uses real-time FAA data to provide details on both private and commercial flights around the world. We provide much of the same information that air traffic controllers use, such as heading, speed, altitude, origin and destination airports, phases of flight, and even aircraft ownership information. Please note that for privacy reasons, aircraft owners are allowed to block certain information, and we will let you know when this occurs. Additionally, non-U.S. carriers may not share all information with the FAA, so we may only share partial information for non-U.S. flights. Private pilots are also not required to file a flight plan in good weather, so in those cases, we may not be able to tell you certain things like the destination airport. If you ever have a problem or a feature request, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
