By linking up with Alexa, users of SmartControl PLUS Wi-Fi Bridge (and motors) can now open or close shutters, blinds, draper, venetians or other motorized window coverings by giving out direct voice commands to Alexa.
You can ask Alexa to open or close an individual shade or to activate a scene that moves a group of shades to pre-determined positions.
A few tips for users: You will need to configure a SmartControl PLUS Wi-Fi Bridge (or a SmartControl PLUS Wi-Fi Motor) together with the SmartControl PLUS App first before enabling the Alexa Action.
Please create an account, setup devices/shades and scenes properly in the SmartControl PLUS App, making sure a plain and distinctive name is assigned to shades and scenes, for clear recognition with voice commands.
To establish link-up with Alexa, you will be requested to submit SmartControl PLUS account info, email address and password, to Alexa.
