SURE Smart Home skill is the last piece of your Smart Home system – allowing you to control all of your devices easily and hands free with Alexa. SURE Smart Home supports Smart Lights, Smart Plugs, Smart Locks, Smart Curtains. You can use the SURE skill to turn your smart lights on and off and change their color and brightness; turn smart plugs on and off; securely lock and unlock your door; and control your curtains, all by voice with Alexa.
Before you can use the SURE skill you need to have a valid SURE account and make sure the rest of your Smart Home system is set up: First, install and sign in to SURE app on your smartphone and SURE Smart Hub running on your Streamer / Set-Top Box. If you are not registered to our service yet, simply tap the 'Register for Free' button and follow the instructions to create a new SURE account. Next, pair your smart devices to a Z-wave dongle, if necessary, and plug it in to your Streamer / Set-Top Box. For more information on supported devices, please check the link below. Then select the SURE Smart Home skill from the Amazon skill store and enter your SURE credentials when asked. Upon successful login to SURE Smart Home Skill, you can start asking Alexa to help you control your smart home devices: "Alexa, turn on the Kitchen light" "Alexa, dim Living Room light by 30 percent" "Alexa, close the Living Room curtain" "Alexa, turn off the bedroom smart plug" You can also include SURE smart devices in your Alexa Routines.
