The Cecil Whig and CecilDaily.com skill delivers the latest news headlines from Maryland’s Upper Shore region. With featured stories, local and sports news, and features feeds available, you will be able to customize the headlines read to you every day.
To Enable the Skill: click the enable button on The Cecil Whig and CecilDaily.com skill page. The Featured news feed will be enabled by default. Enable local, sports or relaxer news feeds in your Alexa app by choosing Skills > Your Skills > The Cecil Whig and CecilDaily.com > Manage in Flash Briefing. You can enable feeds that are currently “Off,” and “Edit Order” of feeds.
To Get Started: say "Alexa, what’s my Flash Briefing" or “Alexa, what’s in the news?”
When the headlines are playing, you can say "Alexa, next" or Alexa, previous" to play the next or previous headline. You can also say “Alexa, pause” and “Alexa, resume.”
