To use your Amazon Echo with your Tiktecklab wifi socket, make sure you have the latest Alexa app on your device, you have your Tikteck light bulb installed, and activate the Tiktecklab Skill. This will require your Tiktecklab Cloud account email and password to authorize Alexa to access your lights.
To get started, select the "Enable Skill" button in the Alexa App to link your Tiktecklab account and discover your devices. When using the skill, you need to specify by name which device to use. You can set the devices' name in TikTecklab app which controls your devices. you can find the exact Tiktecklab app name in your product user manuel.
Your tikteck wifi socket now talk directly to the Amazon Echo through the Alexa Connected Home Integration. You can no control your wifi socket with simple statements like:
Alexa, Turn on the socket
Alexa, Turn off the Kitchen cooling fan. (In order for users to be able to say “Alexa, turn on the Kitchen cooling fan” the device needs to be named “kitchen cooling fan”.)
Alexa, Set power to 50%
Alexa, set bedroom fan to 50% (In order for users to be able to say “Alexa, set the bedroom fan to 50%” the device needs to be named “bedroom fan”.)
Alexa, Turn on the coffee machine(In order for users to be able to say “Alexa, turn on the coffee machine” the device needs to be named “coffee machine”.)
