With the True Connect skill and Alexa, you can change the security mode of your True Connect system and control smart home devices by voice.
There are 2 parts to setting up True Connect. Enable and Link Accounts here in Alexa Skill. Add/Edit Contacts for alerts and Add/Edit smart home devices and scenes for automation in the True Connect portal or App.
To set up True Connect in Alexa You first need to register and create an account with True Connect portal at https://www.trueconnect.dk/Vesta/.
Once you have your account ready: 1. Click on Enable Skill button on this page 2. Then tap on the button that says Link Account 3. The True Connect login page will display 4. Enter your username and password 5. Press Login to link your True Connect account 6. For enhanced security, set up a 4-digit PIN code for each area (This step will be skipped if using medical panel) 7. A screen should display saying 'Account linking successful'
Next, go to True Connect Portal to set up your contact list so they will receive the alerts, and set up your smart home devices and scenes.
For enhanced security, some commands require a PIN code to execute. When a pin code is required, Alexa will ask you to provide the pin code before executing the command. To change the security mode of your system, you can say Alexa, ask True Connect Security to arm away, disarm, or arm home. Alexa will respond with, please give me your PIN code. After you’ve provided your pincode and Alexa has verified, the command would be executed.
Here are a few examples to interact with your True Connect system:

To arm the security system when you’re away, Alexa, ask True Connect to arm away or to arm away area 2 (if the security system supports multiple areas).
To disarm the security system, Alexa, ask True Connect to disarm.
To arm the security system when you’re home, Alexa, ask True Connect to arm home or to arm home area 2 (if the security system supports multiple areas).
[Automation]
To control a power switch, Alexa, ask True Connect to turn on {device name}. Alexa, ask True Connect to turn off {device name}. Alexa, ask True Connect to toggle {device name}.
To control a dimmer, Alexa, ask True Connect to turn on {device name}. Alexa, ask True Connect to turn off {device name}. Alexa, ask True Connect to set {device name} to {0~100}%. Alexa, ask True Connect to dim {device name} to {0~100}%.
To apply scene, Alexa, ask True Connect to apply {scene name}.
