Voice memo is a new way to leave a message on all of your Alexa enabled devices to replay later on demand or at a specific time. If so, Voice Memo is the perfect solution, functioning like your own private secretary for you and your family. This skill has endless possibilities and allows you to be creative with the messages you send!
How to use Voice Memo:
- Allow permission for the skill to send reminders.
- To record a memo when prompted with “would you like to create a new message or check your inbox” say “create a new message” then when prompted to record a message, you need to first say the words “record memo” before the message you would like to record. For example when prompted to record a message say “Record memo, Take the dog on a walk”
- To create a new inbox for a person just simply say the name of the person the message is for. Once a message is created for that person they will then be able check their own personal inbox to play all the messages that were left for them.
- To check your inbox when prompted with “would you like to create a new message or check your inbox” say “check inbox”. When prompted with “who am I talking to” say your name and the skill will play all the messages left for the user.
