This skill works with all generations of Wally products. When placed around your home, Wally Sensors monitor for water leaks, temperature and humidity changes, and when doors or windows are opened. With the Wally app you receive instant alerts for leaks and temperature or humidity levels outside of a threshold that you set. With the Alexa Skill you can now check on your Wally Sensors using your voice and a few simple phrases. To get started, select the “Enable Skill” button to link your Wally account. Alexa will then be able to read back your Sensor information. Only the account owner can connect Alexa to Wally.
After connecting Alexa to your Wally account, just say commands like: “Alexa, ask Wally where my sensors are.” “Alexa, ask Wally for temperature.” “Alexa, ask Wally about my Kitchen.” “Alexa, ask Wally if I have any open alarms.” “Alexa, ask Wally for status.” “Alexa, ask Wally about my place.” “Alexa, ask Wally to turn on/off device.” In order to connect Alexa to Wally, first you must have an active Wally owner account, i.e. the account that was created when you first setup your Wally Starter kit.
