Word or Absurd? is a fun and surprisingly difficult game where the objective is to differentiate between real English words and gibberish that was made up by an artificial intelligence algorithm to sound "wordy."
Each game consists of five rounds where Alexa will give you something that sounds like it could be a word. Your job is to tell her if it is a real word or absolute nonsense. The skill includes more than 1000 unusual words and definitions from the Oxford English Dictionary so it has hours of content that will challenge even the most erudite wordsmiths. Every word comes with a definition and, if Alexa pronounces something funny, you can always ask her to spell it out for you.
The skill also offers an optional premium "Survival Mode" expansion. This expansion allows you to compete in an endless mode to see what the longest streak of correct answers you can get is. If you well, your score will be shared on the global high-score charts for daily, weekly, and all-time best scores!
