With the Wyze Skill and Alexa, you can control both your Wyze locks, cameras, plugs and light bulbs. You can also see your Wyze Sense and use them as a Routine trigger.
You can control your light bulb from any Alexa enabled device by saying "Alexa, turn on the couch light". The skill is also allowing you to change the brightness and temperature of each bulb. In a similar manner, you can interact with the plug by saying "Alexa, turn on the fan", where fan would be the name of the fan. You can now access your Wyze Cam via voice control by simply saying "Alexa, show my front door camera.". Wyze Cam V1 is not supported by the Wyze Skill and only Wyze Cam V2 onward cameras are supported. The Wyze Skill doesn't work with Fire TV Stick Gen 1.
Before you get started, please make sure your Wyze device is online and updated to the latest firmware. Then enable the Wyze Skill in Alexa app or ask Alexa to enable the skill by saying "Alexa, enable the Wyze Skill" and you will be directed to link your Wyze account with your Alexa account.
You can view live feed and listen to the audio from your Wyze devices. Alexa also works with the shared users so anyone with access to the camera can view the activity. But please note that you will not be able to view playback, or speak to people through your Alexa devices.
Some example commands are:
"Alexa, show my front door." "Alexa, show my kitchen." "Alexa, lock my front door." "Alexa, go home." "Alexa, stop."
Note: The current support of the Lock does not reflect the status of the door (opened or closed)
