With the Google Assistant and your Yale Access Smart Lock, you can do the following: - lock your door
("Hey, Google, lock my front door.") - unlock your door with a security code
("Hey, Google, unlock my front door.") - check the status of your Yale Access Smart Lock
("Hey, Google, is my front door locked?") - check the status of your door
("Hey, Google, is my front door closed?") Connecting Your Yale Access products to the Google Assistant
1. Launch and log into the Google Assistant app
2. Tap the blue drawer icon in the upper right corner
3. Select Settings > Home Control
4. Tap the plus sign icon in the bottom right corner to Add devices
5. Select Yale Access Home
6. Sign in with your Yale Access account information to
7. Set your security code if you wish to use the unlock feature
8. If you have a doorbell cam, you can agree to enable Visitor Announcements
9. You will now see your Yale Access lock(s) listed in Google Assistant’s Devices section Yale Access’s Google Assistant FAQ

-To control an Yale Access Smart Lock with the Google Assistant, you'll need the Yale Access Smart Lock and either an Yale Access Connect or any Yale Access Doorbell Cam to connect the lock to Wi-Fi
