With the Zemote skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Zemote Home Automation products like the Light Fan module by voice.
The Light Fan module allows you to automate up to 3 lights and 1 fan.
To get started, select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Zemote Alexa skill to link your Zemote account with Alexa. Once your Zemote account is linked successfully, you will be able to discover your Zemote automation devices in the Alexa app. For detailed usage instructions please visit the FAQ page on the Zemote website (http://www.zemote.in/faqs.html).
When using the skill, you need established names for your devices. There are two ways to define these names:
Use the names you previously set up in the Zemote app. They are shown in the Zemote app and can be changed. Create a group in the Alexa app, like Bedroom or Living room, and add the device to the group. Once you know the name or group name for your devices, you can say the following:
Depending on the types of devices configured in Zemote app, choose example phrases from the Use Your Smart Home Device with Alexa page and replace [bracketed text] with names appropriate for your skill. Example:
"Alexa, turn on Living Room light." "Alexa, set Living Room Fan speed to 5." "Alexa, turn on Bedroom."
