zHome skill for Alexa will help you control your Smart Devices like lights and smart plugs in your house.
Connected lights, smart plugs: - “Alexa, turn on the Bedroom light” - “Alexa, turn on the Bedroom plugs” - “Alexa, turn off the Bedroom lights” - “Alexa, dim the Living Room lights” - “Alexa set the Living Room lights to 25%”
Scene Switch: - “Alexa, turn on the Home scene” - “Alexa, turn on the Away scene”
Temperature: - “Alexa, what is the temperature of Master bedroom”
If at least one SmartPlug or Light device is present in the account, "virtual" device with the same type and simple name will be created. As result you can control them by the command: - “Alexa, turn on the light” Without room indication in command. Following rules will be used to select the device for control: - If there's only one device of the appropriate type in the location, it is selected. - If there're multiple devices and all of them are in the same room, they are selected. - If there're multiple devices and they are in different rooms, devices from a room with the most recent motion (but no later than 30 minutes) are selected.
