With the Zipato v3 - SmartHome skill, you can control various scenes and devices such as lights, switches, locks, dimmers, and thermostats installed in Zipato system, by voice. All you need is an account on my3.zipato.com, a registered ZipaTile2 or Zipabox2 controller and some devices to be controlled by Zipato v3 - SmartHome skill. To get started, select the ‘Enable Skill’ button in the Alexa App to link your account on my3.zipato.com and discover your device(s). Use your username and password to log in, and choose one or more Zipato systems to link with Alexa.
When using the skill, it is advisable to specify the name of the device you wish to control. Zipato v3 - SmartHome skill will recognize the names displayed in the device list in your Zipato system. If you rename a device, please notify Alexa about it by saying 'Alexa discover my devices.
Use Zipato v3 - SmartHome skill to control lights and switches by saying: "Alexa, turn on the Bedroom light"
Your dimmers will respond to utterances like: "Alexa, set the Kitchen light to 25 percent" "Alexa, brighten the Kitchen light by 10 percent"
Zipato thermostats can be controlled by saying: "Alexa, set the Kitchen temperature to 75 degrees" "Alexa, decrease the Kitchen temperature by 4 degrees" "Alexa, increase the Kitchen temperature by 4 degrees"
To control lockable devices, use utterances like: "Alexa, lock the front door." "Alexa, unlock the front door."
