Have a blast with Alexa using one of the most awesome games ever: chess!
It's a game that has captivated us for centuries, and despite computers having firmly established during dominance since the late 1990's, the artistic beauty that the game has to offer never ceases to amaze, and the benefits that chess has to offer in areas such as memory and spatial reasoning are well known.
So what does this skill have to offer? Here are some of the highlights:
1) Three different levels of difficulty
To accommodate players of varying playing strengths!
2) Game visualization in the browser
The skill integrates with a chess API that allows you to view your game in the browser. The UI is pretty basic for the time being, but it can always be enhanced in the future.
During a game, the skill will give you an ID, which you can enter at the following link to view your game:

3) Pausing and Resuming Games
Chess games can sometimes take awhile, but we may not have the time in our busy lives to play an entire game in one sitting. If you're in the middle of a game, you can stop the skill and resume your game later! Just remember your game ID, and when launching the skill again, just say: "resume game [ID]". Be careful though! Games do expire within 24 hours, if not sooner.
This skill will continue being developed, so feedback is very much appreciated! If you enjoyed this skill and want to check out some of my other skills, feel free to checkout my website here:
