Bamboo Luminaries is a game and educational activity for all ages that presents famous people from history, including a diverse group of writers, scientists, musicians, artists, social justice activists, athletes, actors, and more.
Every day Bamboo Luminaries introduces a new “Luminary of the Day” with engaging images from history, along with interesting facts about the Luminary. Players can then Take a Quiz, play Guess a Luminary, or Explore Luminaries from our large and growing list of famous people in history.
Earn points taking quizzes and guessing luminaries, watch your ranking increase as you answer more questions, and try to get in the top 10 or all the way to #1. You can also earn badges for various activities.
We Strongly Recommend signing up for the optional Bamboo Grove to review your Bamboo Luminaries progress on the web including badges earned, points, and ranking.

Benefits of Optional Account Linking and Bamboo Grove ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Players can sign up for an optional Bamboo Learning account by going to Bamboo Grove at grove.bamboolearning.com. Bamboo Grove is where players can go to follow their progress, including points, ranking, correct and incorrect answers for quizzes and guessing games, as well as badges awarded. After signing up for a Bamboo Learning account, players will need to link that account with the Bamboo Luminaries Alexa skill. Players can do this by opening the Alexa App (or going to alexa.amazon.com) and then searching for Bamboo Luminaries within the skills section of the Alexa App. After finding Bamboo Luminaries in the Alexa App, select “Settings”, and then “Link Account”. A screen with a Bamboo logo will show up. Sign in to the previously created Bamboo Learning account and Bamboo Luminaries will be linked. After that, visit Bamboo Grove at grove.bamboolearning.com to view progress.
