With this Alexa Skill, you can now take advantage of some features of your 360° Indoor Cameras and Eyes Outdoor Cameras via Amazon Echo and Fire TV products.
These voice commands are at your disposal:
Turn on a camera: • "Alexa, turn on indoor camera."
Turn the light from an outdoor camera on or off: • "Alexa, turn on light front door." • "Alexa, turn off light front door."
View a video stream from a camera on a Fire TV product: • "Alexa, show indoor camera." • "Alexa, hide indoor camera."
To display a video stream from one of your cameras via a Fire TV product, we recommend an upstream transfer rate of at least 1 Mbit/s. This usually corresponds to a DSL 16 Internet connection. If you have less bandwidth, we recommend to continue using the Bosch Smart Camera App.
In the voice commands shown above, “indoor camera” and “front door” were used as examples of camera names. For voice commands, use the name you assigned to the camera in the Bosch Smart Camera App instead of "indoor camera" or "front door".
Note: To use this skill, activate it first with Alexa. Then log in with the access data for your Bosch Smart Camera App. To use Alexa's voice control via a Fire TV product, you need a second-generation Amazon Fire TV product with a voice remote control.
