Phone finder works with Talker mobile app to find your phone or your friends or relatives phone. Talker already has this functionality through their chat platform and we suggest you configure and test on Talker app before trying it out with Google home. Talker app can be downloaded from Apple and Android stores as below:
Apple: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/talker/id1547078457
Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.audiopod.chatme To setup locating and finding phone you have to enable at two places within the APP. If you just want to find and locate your phone then you need to enable just in settings to Allow location and phone. i.e Talker mobile App->Home Page-> Settings - And two allow buttons If you want to give someone else access to get your location or find your phone then apart from above you also must go to chat page i.e Home Page-> Click on your Friend Name-> Further click on their Name at the top -> Again two buttons to allow that particular contact to get your location or find your phone. All location access is announced every-time to all parties involved so this is not a snooping app. Please only use it as a utility function. Both Android and Apple also insists on you allowing background location access. If your permission only says allow only while using the app then you must goto setting-> Talker and enable allow always for location.
