The Smart Heart project explores the potential of delivering an individualised training routine through a Virtual assistant, Alexa, for enhancing the clinical and self-management of heart failure. The combination of state-of-the-art sensing technologies including physiological (e.g., blood pressure, weight, heart rate), behavioural (e.g., wearable activity trackers) and communication data allows building dynamic, adaptive and instantly available content. The self-management program is created through a web interface and then it is delivered through a browser on a computer or an Alexa-enabled device. The routine includes audio, images and videos. The content is optimized for Echo Show devices with a rectangular screen: Show 5, Echo Show 8, Echo Show 10, etc.
