Note: To make things easier for children to understand, we refer to each grade level as climbing one of the following trees (K – Banana Tree, 1 – Coconut Tree, 2 – Apple Tree, 3 – Oak Tree, 4 – Pine Tree, 5 – Lemon Tree). Additionally, we refer to each “Unit” as climbing a ladder. So, a child working on the 3rd Unit of 2nd grade for Spelling, would be on “Ladder 3 on the Apple Tree in Spelling”. Similarly, a child working on the 6th Unit of 4th grade for Vocabulary, would be on “Ladder 6 on the Pine Tree in Vocabulary.” If they complete this ladder, they would move to “Ladder 1 on the Lemon Tree in Vocabulary” (i.e. 5th Grade, Unit 1). --- WE ALSO OFFER A GUIDE TO USING BAMBOO ENGLISH AT guide.bamboolearning.com. --- BENEFITS OF OPTIONAL ACCOUNT LINKING AND BAMBOO GROVE Parents can sign up for an optional Bamboo Learning account by going to Bamboo Grove at grove.bamboolearning.com. Bamboo Grove is the "dashboard" where parents can go to follow their children’s progress for each unit and level (for example 2nd Grade Vocabulary Unit 3 would be the 3rd Unit of the school year for 2nd Grade Vocabulary). After signing up for a Bamboo Learning account, parents need to link that account with the Bamboo English Alexa skill using the Alexa App (or going to alexa.amazon.com) and then searching for Bamboo English within the skills section of the Alexa App.
