Alexa can be used to control devices, groups, and activate scenes and schedules created in the MyCurtains app. Alexa will response to the names each user chooses for each device, group, scene, and schedule.
When using the skill, Alexa will response to commands for "open", "close", "set", and percentage of openness, with 0% being full open and 100% being full close.
To control devices, tell Alexa to "Open/Close <device name>" or "Set <device name> to <percentage>".
"Alexa, open Living Room Curtains".
"Alexa, close Living Room Curtains".
"Alexa, set Living Room Curtains to 50%".
To control groups, tell Alexa to "Open/Close <group name>" or "Set <group name> to <percentage>".
"Alexa, open Bedroom Group".
"Alexa, close Bedroom Group".
"Alexa, set Bedroom Group to 50%".
To control scenes or schedules, tell Alexa to "Turn on <scene/schedule name>".
"Alexa, turn on Night Scene".
"Alexa, turn on Weekend Schedule".
***Note: "Turn on" command acts as a "run" command. Hence, there is no "Turn off" command. ****
Current Products Corp. drapery products have single or dual curtain options. In a dual curtain option, the window side curtain is deemed the "sheer" and the room side is deemed the "blackout". To control the sheer, tell Alexa to "Open/Close <device name> sheer" or "Set <device name> sheer to <percentage>". To control the blackout, tell Alexa to "Open/Close <device name> blackout" or "Set <device name> blackout to <percentage>".
