The MyCurtains™ skill enables Alexa to interact with your Current Products MyCurtains enabled devices paired with the Current Products hub.
Alexa can be used to control devices, groups, and activate scenes created in the MyCurtains app. Alexa will respond to the names each user chooses for each device and group.
When using the skill, Alexa will respond to commands for “open”, “close”, and percentages of openness, with 0% being full open and 100% being full closed.
To control devices, tell Alexa to “Ask My Curtains to <action> <device name>”.
“Alexa, ask My Curtains to Open the Living Room Curtains”.
“Alexa, tell My Curtains to Set the Patio shade to 60%”.
To control groups, tell Alexa to “Tell My Curtains to <action><group name>”.
“Alexa, ask My Curtains to Open the Kitchen shades”.
“Alexa, tell My Curtains to Close the Bedroom Drapes”.
Current Products Corp. drapery products have single or dual curtain options. In a dual curtain option the window side curtain is deemed the “sheer” and the room side curtain is deemed the “blackout”. To control the sheer, tell Alexa to “Ask MyCurtains to <action><device name><sheer>. To control the blackout, tell Alexa to “Ask My Curtains to <action><device name><blackout>.
