With Eddy Voice Remote and Amazon Alexa you can use your voice to start and stop activities, change channels, control volume, switch inputs, and play/pause your content.
SMART HOME - DEVICES
If you have Watch TV Activity, you can initiate the scene device by saying:
• “Alexa, turn on Watch TV”
Then you can say the following phrases without adding "on Watch TV":
To control volume, say:
• “Alexa, increase volume"
• “Alexa, increase volume by 3"
• “Alexa, decrease volume"
• “Alexa, decrease volume by 3"
• “Alexa, mute”
• “Alexa, unmute”
To control channels, say:
• “Alexa, change channel to Fox ”
• “Alexa, change channel to 7-2”
• “Alexa, next channel”
• “Alexa, previous channel”
To control playback, say:
• “Alexa, play”
• “Alexa, pause”
• “Alexa, fast forward"
• “Alexa, rewind"
• “Alexa, start over"
• “Alexa, stop"
• “Alexa, next"
• “Alexa, previous"
To switch inputs, say
• “Alexa, switch to HDMI 1”
• “Alexa, switch to HDMI 2”
• “Alexa, switch to HDMI 3”
• “Alexa, switch to TV”
• “Alexa, switch to Antenna”
Note #1: If you have multiple devices with the same type of controls i.e.(Playback controls or Channels Controls) then you need to always say the device name, so you do need to all "on Watch TV" to all the phrases.
Note #2: If there's been no activity on the Watch TV scene device for approximately 60-90 minutes (e.g., if you have been watching a single show or channel for a long time), you will need to add "Watch TV" to the phrases. Example:
• “Alexa, pause” will not work after 60 minutes of watching a tv show.
• “Alexa, pause on Watch TV" will work before or after 60 minutes of watching a tv show.
SMART HOME - SCENES
You can turn on / off scenes by saying:
• “Alexa, turn on scene name”
• “Alexa, turn off scene name”
Examples:
• “Alexa, turn on FOX”
• “Alexa, turn on SKIP”
• “Alexa, turn on Custom Activity”
