This Skill is available in US. With the FGLair Smart Home skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Fujitsu General Mini Splits by voice.
Requirements for use: - Fujitsu General Mini Split with WLAN control and WLAN operating environment. * For W-LAN adapters UTY-TFNXZ2, No. 13 shown below is unusable. - "FGLair app" installed on a mobile device. Before using the FGLair Smart Home skill, please install the FGLair app on your smartphone or tablet. Also, please refer to the Fujitsu General website for additional information (https://www.fujitsu-general.com/global/products/fglair/index.html).
To get started, select the 'Enable Skill' button in the Alexa App to link your FGLair app account and discover your Mini Split(s). Find more information about connecting smart home devices at Connect a Smart Home Device to Alexa (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home).
When using the skill, you need established names for your Mini Splits. There are two ways to define these names: - Use the names you previously set up. They are shown in the FGLair app and can be change, or - Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the Mini Split(s) to the group. More information is available at Create a Smart Home Device Group (http://tinyurl.com/alexa-smart-home-groups)
Once you know the name or group name for your Mini Split(s), you can say the following: (1) Alexa, turn on living room. (2) Alexa, turn off bedroom. (3) Alexa, set master bedroom temperature to 78 degrees. (°F, when setting of the Alexa device is Fahrenheit) (4) Alexa, set master bedroom temperature to 26 degrees. (°C, when setting of the Alexa device is Celsius) (5) Alexa, increase the family room temperature. (6) Alexa, increase the basement AC temperature by 3 degrees. (7) Alexa, decrease the Thermostat temperature. (8) Alexa, decrease the Thermostat temperature by 2 degrees. (9) Alexa, set lounge to Cool. (10) Alexa, set living room to Heat. (11) Alexa, set living room to Auto.
Notes for the following commands: (12) Alexa, what is the living room set to? (13) Alexa, what is the temperature in the living room? Alexa's temperature display unit of measure (°F or °C) depends on the "World Region" setting in the FGLair app account. If you would like Alexa to use Celsius, set the "World Region" setting for any country outside the Unites States. If you would like Alexa to use Fahrenheit, set the "World Region" setting to "United States". If these setting and registration are incorrect, Alexa may read a slightly different temperature (approximately 1°C or 2°F difference) from the temperature indicator on the Mini Split.
