Alexa is supported for Lennox iComfort S30, iComfort E30 and iComfort M30 thermostats. With the iComfort S30, E30 and M30 supporting Alexa, you can now control the temperature in your home by simply using voice commands.
Getting started: You will need to select ‘Enable skill’ in the Alexa app. This will allow you to link your Lennox iComfort account with Alexa, and then discover your iComfort S30 , E30 or M30 Thermostat as well as any iHarmony Zoning sensors paired with your system. Controlling your iComfort S30 / E30 / M30 with Alexa: You will need to tell Alexa which device you want to control. Please use the device name you see in your Devices list on the Alexa app. There are two ways to define this/these name(s): - Use the name(s) you set up already – these are shown on your iComfort Thermostat and can be changed, or - Create an Alexa group, like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the thermostat and/or one or more sensors to the group (find more information at: amzn.to/2965dCE).
Example 1 If you have the Lennox iComfort thermostat with the default system name, you can say: - “Alexa, set Thermostat to 72 degrees.” - “Alexa, what is the Thermostat set to?.” - “Alexa, increase Thermostat temperature.”
Example 2 If your iComfort thermostat is paired with iHarmony Zoning sensors named “Bedroom”, “Upstairs” and “Living Room”, you can command Alexa to adjust your individual room temperatures by saying: - “Alexa, set Bedroom to 72 degrees.” - “Alexa, decrease Upstairs by 3 degrees.” - “Alexa, what is the Living Room set to?.” -"Alexa, set Bedroom to ECO." -"Alexa, set Upstairs to HEAT." -“Alexa, set Living room to COOL." -“Alexa, set Bedroom to AUTO." -“Alexa, set Bedroom to OFF."
Note: It is suggested to use easy to recognize room names (like “Bedroom”, “Upstairs”, “Living room”).
Example 3: Lennox iComfort thermostat "allows you to change the system mode" via Alexa voice command Supported System Modes: ‘HEAT’, ‘COOL’, ‘AUTO’, ‘ECO’, ‘OFF’ - “Alexa, set Thermostat to HEAT." -“Alexa, set Thermostat to COOL.” -“Alexa, set Thermostat to AUTO.” -“Alexa, set Thermostat to ECO.” -“Alexa, set Thermostat to OFF.”
Setting your iComfort Thermostat to Away mode: You can now set all the iComfort thermostats in your home to the Away mode by simply saying: "Alexa, turn on Away scene" Manage the Away scene from the Smart Home menu on your Alexa App.
