Click ENABLE in the Amazon Alexa App and sign in with your Sharp Account ID to link with the Alexa Skill for Sharp Kitchen. Finally, press Discover Devices and enjoy cooking with Alexa!

Description:
Our new Sharp Microwave Drawer and Convection Microwave Drawer make cooking easier by adding Alexa’s power of hands-free voice control for multiple cooking functions and convenience.

You can use Alexa to open your Microwave Drawer or Convection Microwave Drawer when your hands are full, then just place your food inside! Ask Alexa to assist in cooking with preset menus such as popcorn, frozen entrées, defrosting meats, baking your favorite goodies, and even heating beverages. You can control your own cook settings using Alexa by specifying cook time and power level for microwave cooking (SMD2489ES and SMD2499FS), or by specifying cook time and temperature for convection cooking (SMD2499FS).

With Alexa, you can do the following:
Open the microwave drawer by saying:
Alexa, open the microwave.

Set time and power level for manual microwave cooking by saying:
Alexa, microwave for 3 minutes on power level 8.

Set time and temperature for convection cooking by saying:
Alexa, convection bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

Operate sensor cook for common items (e.g., popcorn, potatoes, frozen entrée, etc.) by saying:
Alexa, microwave regular popcorn.

Operate non-sensor cook for common functions (e.g., defrost, reheat, melt, etc.) by saying:
Alexa, reheat leftovers.

Operate convection functions for baking and roasting (e.g., Flank Steak, Biscuits, Dinner Rolls, etc.) by saying:
Alexa, convection bake biscuits.

Cancel, pause and resume cooking by saying:
Alexa, stop the oven/microwave.
Alexa, pause the oven/microwave.
Alexa, resume the oven/microwave.
