Once you have configured your Smart Home Collection Hub and App, use this skill to interact with your motorized shades using Alexa. Enable this skill and ask Alexa, “Alexa, discover devices.” Once discovered, quickly operate scenes, rooms or individual shades with simple voice commands.

Create scenes and rooms in the Smart Home Collection App and name them what you please.

Scenes:
To control scenes, simply tell Alexa to turn on or activate your *Scene Name*.
"Alexa, turn on Good Morning”
"Alexa, Activate Movie Time”
"Alexa, turn on Good Night”

Individual shades:
Simply tell Alexa set the *Shade Name* to *Chosen Percentage*.
"Alexa, set the Kitchen shade to 50%"
“Alexa, open the Living Room shade”
“Alexa, increase the Bedroom shade by 25%”
“Alexa, lower the Master Bedroom shade by 75%”

Rooms or Group of Shades:
“Alexa, open the Living Room shade”
“Alexa, close the Bedroom shade

You can even control scenes in specific rooms:
Simply tell Alexa turn on *Scene Name* in the *Room Name*.
"Alexa, turn on Good Morning in the Kitchen”
"Alexa, Activate Movie Time”
"Alexa, turn on Good Night in the Bedroom”

Setup is quick and easy:
1. Connect the Smart Home Collection Hub and App with your motorized shades

2.Create custom scenes and rooms, naming them what you please in the Smart Home Collection App.

3. Link your "Smart Home Collection skill for Amazon Alexa" with your Smart Home Collection App account.

4. Ask Alexa to discover devices and scenes.
