With this skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Carrier® Infinity® Touch or Infinity System Control by voice command to control your home comfort system.
To get started, select the “Enable Skill” button in the Alexa App to link your www.MyInfinityTouch.com account (using your previously selected username and password for this account) and discover your system(s). Find more information about connecting Smart Home devices at http://amzn.to/291lR7u.
When using the skill, you need to specify by name, which system, and if applicable, which zones within systems, to use. Note that all names of systems and zones within an account must be unique (duplicate names will cause confusion within the Alexa interface).
• Use the system and/or zone name(s) that you set up already – these are shown in the My Infinity mobile app (touch the system name at the top of the Main screen to see and access all of the systems and zones set up for that account)
• System names can be changed within the www.MyInfinityTouch.com Consumer Portal (go to My Locations > Edit System Preferences > System Name > input the new name > Update)
• Zone names can be changed within the My Infinity mobile app (select a system from the drop down menu at the top of the Main > touch Menu > Zone Names > select the Zone(s) to rename > follow the screen prompts to save the names)
If you have linked Infinity account with Alexa and you wish to link a different Infinity account with Alexa, perform the following steps:
1. Logout of your Infinity Touch account. (go to www.MyInfinityTouch.com and select Logout)
2. Disable the Carrier Infinity Touch Control skill within the Alexa app. (go to Skills > Your Skills > Carrier Infinity Touch Control > Disable)
3. Enable the Carrier Infinity Touch Control skill in the Alexa app. (go to Skill > Search for Carrier Infinity Touch Control > Enable > Input the Infinity Account username and password you wish to link)
