With the Carrier Smart Home skill and Alexa, you can now interact with your Carrier air purifier through voice commands. Begin by tapping on the "Enable to use" button in the Alexa app. Then, allow Alexa to link to your Carrier Home account which has your air purifier added. Alternatively, you can open the 'Voice Control' option through the Air Purifier Settings page in your Carrier Home app. Here, you can tap the "Open Amazon Alexa" CTA button within the Alexa sub-page to initiate account linking. The Carrier Smart Home skill allows you to perform the following activities on your air purifier: Turn your air purifier ON/OFF More activities coming soon! To use the Alexa skill, you will need to specify the skill name "Carrier Smart Home" initially. You can try any one of these commands: “Alexa, open Carrier Smart Home.” - At this point, Alexa will ask you what you would like to do. You can say, "Turn off the purifier". “Alexa, ask Carrier Smart Home to turn on the air purifier.” If you provide a name to your air purifier that is 'simple to understand' (such as 'Office Purifier', 'Living room', et cetera), then you can also try a command like: “Alexa, ask Carrier Smart Home to turn off the Office Purifier.” You can edit your air purifier name in the Air Purifier Settings page.
